37th Street Arts Center
37 Arts Theatre – Home to Baryshnikov Arts Center and Orchestra of St. Luke’s (Dimmena Center for Classical Music)
37 Arts Theatre located at 450 W 37th Street is comprised of two well know theatres in New York City, Baryshnikov Arts Center and Orchestra of St. Lukes (DiMenna Center for Classical music). The Baryshnikov Arts Center houses four large columnfree studios, a studio theater, and office space which opened in February 2010 while OSL opened the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in March 2011-its first permanent home, and New York City’s first rehearsal and recording facility dedicated to classical music. DiMenna Center is tracking LEED-CI Platinum certification making it one of the most energy and resource efficient facilities in the country. To manage its heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system, 37 Arts Theatre chose ABM Systems Inc., Alerton’s New York Metropolitan Area Authorized Dealer.
ABM Systems Inc. installed an Alerton Building Suite system that gives both theaters control of their own HVAC systems and also gives the building monitoring and control capabilities through a single location. The BMS system is remotely accessible via Internet using state-of-the art technology for offsite diagnostics, monitoring and control which helps to ensure efficient systems management while reducing downtime.
